Scholarships and financial aid for graduate studies
At the graduate level, financial aid is essential to your academic career. At the Faculty of Pharmacy, graduate students can count on several forms of financial aid, including scholarships, research grants, and teaching contracts.
The FER promotes teaching and research at the Faculty of Pharmacy by awarding master’s and doctoral research scholarships that are meant to serve as catalysts for securing external funding. They are intended for people who wish to begin or continue a full-time master’s or doctoral research program at the Faculty of Pharmacy under the supervision or co-supervision of a faculty member. Applications open twice a year, in April and October.
The FGPS Student Success Scholarships are awarded to Canadian and international students who reach key milestones in a master’s or doctoral program within the timeframes set out in the Faculty’s award plan.
They are meant to encourage steady progress and graduation within certain timeframes:
- Master’s degree: 4 to 6 full-time semesters
- Doctorate: 8 to 12 semesters (12 credits per semester)
You must apply before the end of the semester in which you reach the milestone.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions during the process.
Faculty Circle conference scholarships awarded to Canadian and international graduate students enrolled in master’s and doctoral programs. They support the presentation of research at national or international conferences; in doing so, they raise the profile of the Faculty of Pharmacy and its students.
