  • Mécanismes par lesquels le cerveau contrôle le métabolisme énergétique;
  • Développement de stratégies pharmacologiques permettant de traiter les maladies et désordres métaboliques (diabète, résistance à l’insuline, obésité, stéatose hépatique);
  • Définition des mécanismes physiopathologiques qui altèrent la communication cerveau-organes dans les maladies métaboliques;
  • Caractérisation des voies de signalisation des récepteurs couplés aux protéines G dans les organes métaboliques;
  • Développement de combinaisons pharmacologiques efficaces pour améliorer le métabolisme du glucose et des lipides.
